4. Hali\u00e7 Goldenhorn Uluslararas\u0131 Film Festivali\u2019nde \u00d6d\u00fcller Sahiplerini Buldu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Organized by Fotofilm Culture Art and Ansam Culture Association and realized with the contributions of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, the 4th International Hali\u00e7 Goldenhorn Film Festival met with moviegoers at Beyo\u011flu Cinema between December 2-7, 2024. The night, which was attended by the founding president of the festival Mehmet Oflazo\u011flu, the festival director and the award night presenter Assoc. Prof. Dr. Beg\u00fcm Aylin \u00d6nder, was attended by jury members, producers, directors, actors and moviegoers.<\/p>\n

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, IMM Culture, Istanbul Arel University Faculty of Communication and Dean of Students organized a film screening and talks at IMM Beyo\u011flu Cinema. A selection of 85 films from 30 countries in the categories of Feature Fiction, Short Fiction, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short, Experimental Short, Animated Short and Screenplay were watched. All events were open to the public and free of charge.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the opening, Mehmet Oflazo\u011flu emphasized the festival\u2019s role in cinema\u2019s intercultural interaction, saying, \u201cWe brought 85 films from 30 countries together with the audience at the fourth Hali\u00e7 Goldenhorn Film Festival this year. We gave awards in seven different categories in feature, short, documentary, animation and experimental categories. Our aim is to bring together the different colors of world cinema in the heart of Istanbul and offer young filmmakers the opportunity to express themselves.\u201d Assoc. Prof. Dr. Beg\u00fcm Aylin \u00d6nder drew attention to the power of cinema in storytelling, saying, \u201cThis festival allows stories from different geographies to come together in a common language. Cinema is a powerful art form that removes borders and connects us to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

The festival’s visual personality was designed by Manolya Ke\u015fre, while Nazire Alaca undertook the digital communication and social media coordination. In addition, Kaya Erdem Y\u0131lmaz, Zeynep Asude Atalay, Orhan Sarp \u00d6zkan, Ahmet Taha Koca, K\u00fcbra G\u00fcnal and Zehra \u00d6zkan, Sueda \u015eent\u00fcrk, Ceyhun \u00d6zt\u00fcrk, N\u00fcveyba Sare K\u00f6ksal, Aleyna Y\u0131lmaz, G\u00f6kalp \u00c7ift\u00e7i, Sadiye Didar K\u0131l\u0131\u00e7, Ya\u011fmur Bayansald\u0131z from Istanbul Arel University made a great effort at every stage of the organization.<\/p>\nJury Members and Evaluation Process<\/strong>
\nThe jury members of the festival’s awards were composed of names from the world of cinema: The Feature Film Jury <\/strong>included Serdar Akar (President), Korhan Bozkurt, Metin G\u00fcng\u00f6r, Sadullah \u015eent\u00fcrk, Ayd\u0131n Bulut, Mete \u015eener, Ali \u0130lhan, while the Short Film Film Jury<\/strong> included Ahmet Ilgaz, Emin \u00d6nder, Nurten \u0130nan. The Documentary Jury<\/strong>, chaired by Orhan Tekeo\u011flu, also included Serdar G\u00fcven, Igor Toholj. The Academic Jury Members<\/strong> of the Festival included Prof. Dr. \u00d6mer Alanka, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet K\u00f6pr\u00fc, Assist. Prof. Rahime Akikol, Assist. Prof. Bahar Atmaca Demir, Assist. Prof. Murat \u015eahin, Assist. Prof. Recep \u00c7\u00f6kerdeno\u011flu, Res. Asst. While Hatice \u00d6ks\u00fcz was present, the pre-juries of the festival consisted of Abdulkadir B\u00fcy\u00fckbing\u00f6l, Fatma G\u00fcng\u00f6rer, F\u0131rat Ko\u00e7, Hakan Y\u00fcksel, Mehmet \u00d6zdemir, O\u011fuzhan \u00d6ztay, Sefer Dar\u0131c\u0131, Taylan Maral and \u00dclhak \u00c7imen.\n
